How to Wear Pastels in Winter

Winter and Pastels- definitely two words you do not expect to see together in the fashion world and yet it’s one of the biggest trends of A/W 2013 with those blush hues  and soft shades popping up just about everywhere.
This trend has turned fashion rules on their heads and left some of us a little in the dark as to how to work this upcoming trend. But never fear little fashionistas, we’ve got a few hints and tips on how to work this trend.

1) Start small
This trend is not calling for you to go out and buy a canary yellow suit with all the bells and whistles, it works just as well in small doses. Try adding a couple of coordinated pastel accessories to your outfit for a light easy way to work this trend.

2) Wear your pastels with black
It’s hard to dress with pastels without looking like you’re off for a picnic in the park in the height of summer so for the winter months pair pastel with black to avoid looking like you’re stuck in summer.

3) Don’t be afraid of prints
Prints are a great way to intertwine pastel shades into your outfit, without being too garish. Why not try a co-ord suit if you wanna be fashion forward with two A/W trends in one.


This trend is just perfect for brightening up those dull winter days and now you have no excuses not to be rocking pastels this winter.
