On Saturday 7th December, Fashion Soc headed across the Midlands over to Birmingham for a day at the Clothes Show Live. Clothes Show Live is the UK's largest fashion festival, "packed with top fashion and beauty
brands, hair and beauty demonstrations, non-stop catwalk shows,
makeovers, experts, celebrities and next generation talent".
Based at the NEC, the Clothes Show included a ginormous Beauty Hall, Style Boutique and Fashion Bazaar in addition to the Fashion Theatre where the main show took place.
Arriving at around 10am, Fashion Soc had plenty of time to explore all that was on offer before the main show started in the afternoon.
Throughout the day, there were also smaller shows featuring the models from this years Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. Not only was it great to see the models including winner Lauren Lambert in action, the clothes in this show were amazing.
Former contestant and presenter Annaliese Dayes hosted the show, which included collections based around different types of parties that you may attend this season.
"Pink Party" |
"Disco Party"
"Silver 25th Anniversary Party"
After a serious about of shopping, freebie grabbing, and photobooths it was time to head to the Fashion Theatre for the main event that is the UK's largest catwalk show. The show was hosted by designer Henry Holland and included 40 handpicked models and dancers.
