What better way is there to beat the summer holiday blues than to start getting excited about the great things that Autumn/Winter bring us? As much as we love summer dresses, shorts and sandals, the colder months do mean being able to layer up in wooly jumpers, scarves, jackets and boots.
One trend that has dominated the A-W13 catwalks is checks. The trend can be worn in so many different ways, depending on your personal style.
The Catwalk Edit
This versatility was shown by designers, with Saint Laurent styling classic tartan with a punk-revival look, and to contrast Mulberry showed that checks can be worn in a preppy way.
The High-Street Edit
As well as on the catwalk, checks are now all over the high-street. Here's a selection of pieces that we will be adding to our wishlist.
